40 weeks pregnant and thrush. Had a slight problem.

Got thrush again, had it once around 30ish weeks. Caneston worked a treat. Went up fine.

Spoke to midwife yesterday and i told her I'd got Tgrush again. Fine to use again. Only this time it wouldn't 'go up' tried twice and on the second time realised it could be his head?! Or something with my cervix?

Will it still work?

What do you mean it wouldn't go up? The tab or the applicator thing? Doubt it's a head, could just be a bit swollen by 40 weeks?!

It won't be his head unless you're in actual labour?? Try a different angle, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to insert it as usual

Well that's what I thought. He can't be that far down!
I have been having irregular pains but nothing that would suggest labour.
It must be abit swollen. I didn't have a problem the first time, it went in fine.
It went up abit but not all the way.

Might give my midwife a call and just ask her. Thank you for the help, this was supposed to be on the pregnancy board
