Little black lump down there?

38 weeks and in the shower this morning I felt a little lump on my vulva. Checked it after with a mirror and it was a little black lump, hard and painless and looked a little like a blood blister. What could this be? Should I be worried? There is only one and it doesn't hurt.

Any chance it’s a tic? I realise that sounds totally random - but only because what you’ve described sounds exactly like the only tic I’ve ever had! Worth getting checked out just incase - tics/risk of Lymes is something to be taken seriously, particularly when pregnant.

Ingrown hair?

It might be a varicose vein. I had them there when I was pregnant.

I had exactly this when I was pregnant, never had it since. I went to get it checked by the doctor, I remember she said it was nothing of concern and one of those strange pregnancy things! It disappeared at some point. Always worth checking just in case but I remember I was quite freaked out when I found it!

Angiokeratoma of Fordyce? Can happen during pregnancy.

I had the same, was a vein! Think all the pressure had just forced it to ‘pop’ out.

Went away on it’s own a few weeks after DD arrived.

I have had these since the second trimester. One burst once which caused a bit of a shock! I use compression stockings and a cool pack which seems to keep them from getting worse. Also do everything you can to avoid being constipated.
