Hiccups??? Twitching??? What is it?

My baby is breech, and she often kicks me in my lower abdomen in a rhythmic way for around 5 - 10 minutes at a time, about a second between each kick.

I told the OBGYN and she said it was a bit weird as hiccups are normally up at the head and chest, but she didn't seem worried. But then this worried me later when I was thinking about it. So I contacted them again and said I was worried as isn't 10 minutes a long time to hiccup?! And why do I only feel it so low down when she is breech? But they said it was fine and normal and just hiccups.

I just can't shake the worry that it isn't hiccups, though. I keep thinking they must be some kind of seizures in the womb, and I'm so worried! I'm 34 weeks - has anybody else ever experienced this?

33+2 with twins, lower is breech, I get this too! Nothing to worry about, just super annoying lol. For me it feels really low and deep? I'm convinced it's some weird sort of kicking, but agree it almost feels like a spasm. Probs getting comfortable!
Get hiccoughs a lot too, 3/4 times a day, but that's more rhythmic and a different sensation.

For me, it's in the groin. They are definitely rhythmic - a kick every half-second or so for like 10 minutes or longer. It's really freaking me out. I get it up to 3 or 4 times a day.

Sounds like hiccoughs in that case! I think it's harder to tell when baby is breech and it's low and deep in the groin, usually more obvious when baby's back is pressed against mother's tummy x
