Hello,
After quite some time we finally got amazing news this week with a positive pregnancy test.
I thought I would be over the moon but instead I just feel absolutely terrified it will all go wrong.

I have very mild cramping between today and yesterday, which seems a bit too late to be implementation cramping (I’m about 15/16 DPO).

I also have no symptoms. I don’t feel sick my boobs are not sore and apart from mildly sensitive nipples yesterday I’m fine.

Has anyone a similar experience? Am I panicking over nothing. I feel very helpless! It also really feels like I’m about to get my period but I’m not sure if that’s just panic on my side.

Any tips or advice greatly appreciated!

I got my BFP this morning, in my last pregnancy I didn't get sore boobs until I was around 9 weeks, no sickness, no other weird symptoms. Not everyone gets symptoms, still early days

annlee3817 · 20/12/2021 13:34

Sorry meant to add congratulations!

Pearldrops04 · 20/12/2021 13:43

Congratulations. I got my first BFP too a week ago. I don’t have any symptoms either apart from I’m waking everyday at 5am and can’t get back to sleep (but that may not even be pregnancy related!) it’s really normal to get cramping all throughout pregnancy apparently. I cramp everyday (period style cramps) at random intervals. Tend to last a minute or 2 then go.

All sounds completely normal.

I'm the same. First pregnancy and had sore boobs for almost 3 weeks now and cramping. I'm a higher risk of EP due to a slightly thick fallopian tube so just feel like a nervous wreck x

Congratulations to you both! I can’t wait to get a little bit further in and really feel the excitement. We’ve been trying for quite some time
Now so it does feel a little like a Christmas miracle.

Thank you so much for replying and so relieved to hear you’ve experienced similar!

I had a lot of cramping in the early weeks (currently 27 weeks) - was convinced my period was about to start. Apparently it’s just things stretching and prepping for pregnancy, and totally normal. Good luck with your pregnancy!

Just wanted to add one other thing! My positive test faded slightly. It’s still very much definitely a positive but not as dark as when I first did it.

Going to test again in a few days but it’s certainly giving me a bit of a panic!

Here is two photos of the same test. The one on the bed is taken around 12:30 and the second around 5pm. It’s definitely faded after a few hours.

Don't worry about the test, this was the one from my first pregnancy, so faint and all fine

Hello. Those CB’s do fade. I’ve got 3 from the last week and the one from last Monday, the line has practically gone.

TTBAM91 · 20/12/2021 19:32

Thank you!
That is a relief. I’ve bought a digital one to try in a week but it’s so tough waiting. I was sure once I got the positive result I’d be thrilled but it’s a whole other level of stress then!

I had cramping and felt like I was coming on my period for about 5 weeks

PurBal · 20/12/2021 19:34

Oh and I have a 5mo

StampOnTheGround · 21/12/2021 16:18

I had a fair bit of period like cramping in the early weeks (4-8 weeks) and all was fine - it was bad enough to make me take paracetamol. I'm now 24 weeks and all is going well 😊

Hi Everyone, unfortunately my last pregnancy ended a week after I posted. I was absolutely heartbroken.

Since then I’ve taken up acupuncture and focused on my health. Tonight I’m home alone as mt husbands out and I couldn’t stop crying for no reason. I decided to take a test even though I was positive I couldn’t be pregnant because I had absolutely none of the symptoms I had the last time. (No tingly boobs!).

I was shocked to see what I think is a really faint positive. Am I going crazy or does it look like a positive to others. Bearing in mind I took this after 10pm after drinking lots of water and even a coffee not too long ago.

I’m going to test again in the morning but similar to last time the already faint line seems to have faded and almost disappeared. I know this can happen because the level is so low but I can’t make myself feel excited because I’m so terrified of the same thing happening.

I’d love to know if anyone else sees a positive or if it looks like more of an evaporation line due to lack of colour (it did appear in about a minute I should add).

Similarly if anyone has experienced in the very early days a positive test fading away after a few hours.

There is a faint line there. All you can do is try again in a couple of days. Maybe get a pink dye test. Good luck.

Sorry op don't need to be a downer but I had a negative on clear blue and after a while it went positive an it was just the ink leaking or something I can't think of the correct term. I'd probably use the new trio pack with the early testing one in? Xx
