Hi Ladies
I'm 16 DPO and got my BFP two days ago. Boobs have been consistently painful to touch for 2 weeks now but I've also been having on and off cramping in my stomach area. Not enough to need to take paracetamol so not as bad as af cramps but enough so that I notice it. Doesn't wake me up or stop me doing anything, more just very light cramping that I notice coming and going.

Is this normal? I have a higher risk of EP due to a slightly thick fallopian tube so obv I am naturally worried.. First time pregnant too so nothing to compare to.

Sounds normal to me. Light cramping in early pregnancy is the uterus stretching. Unless it’s painful I wouldn’t worry

It's unfortunately too early to tell right now- you will just have to hold your nerve until 6 weeks and you can have a scan that will tell you.

At 5 weeks you may see a fetal pole but it is worth just waiting until 6 or 7 week as you will see much more. All they will do at 5 well is tell him to come back next week for a rescan.

I'd book a private scan or contact the doctors and get an appointment for epu.

My docs weren't great to be honest so be clear you have BOTH bleeding and cramping that will get you referred to EPAU. In my area we can't self refer to EPAU or has to be gp or a and e.
