Do I call the midwife about this?

Hi. Im currently 17 weeks. After sex last night I noticed much more 'leakage' than usual. It appeared more liquid and soaked through 2 pairs of pj's. Nothing else this morning. I know how sex works, I'm not an idiot, but my mind is going on overdrive thinking some of it could've been amniotic fluid. I feel so embarrassed and I'm afraid I'll just get told I'm being daft and I don't know how sex works.

What would you guys do?

If it's baby or pregnancy related I always recommend calling if it's causing worry. If the amount of fluid worried me I'd call. There's no harm in checking. I'm sure the midwives have heard it all before.

Call. That much fluid after sex isn't right. Always if worried call

Always always call your midwife if you have a concern. They won’t think you’re stupid. (I mean, you’ve clearly had sex before if you’re pregnant, and you don’t usually soak through 2 pairs of pyjamas, presumably!).
I guarantee you they won’t think you’re being daft.

If you soaked through two pairs of pyjamas then I'd definitely call.

I went in and they scanned me. Fluid is fine and baby is wriggling! Thank god. No more leakage now. Glad I went in and they said they were glad I did.
