The test line is stronger than the control line (a dye stealer) so I don't think they get more positive than that.

I know it's much easier said than done, I did a million tests with my first and freaked myself, out but step away from the tests.

They all look perfect, congratulations try and enjoy the best you can Smile xx

Your test line won't get any darker

The control line is however getting fainter which is a good sign and almost like a reverse progression

FRER aren't really designed to be taken at this point - I'd try a clear blue digital with weeks which looks for higher hcg levels

Moonshine160 · 19/12/2021 08:40

That’s because the test lines are as dark as they can get already!

Rachae · 19/12/2021 10:33

Obvious progression!

bethamb · 19/12/2021 10:41

@Rachae I don't see any progression in darkness of test line at all xx

@Moonshine160 ah really? I thought they could literally take away the control line and get much darker. So I panicked when for 3 days no progression in the test line xx

@bonetiredwithtwins ahhh that's interesting thank you. I've had 3 miscarriages so I'm very worried. Do you know when roughly I should go to 3+? I got 2-3 on 4+5 and I'm exactly 5 today xx

Personally I haven’t seen test lines darker than those on this forum so honestly I don’t think they can get any darker.

Rachae · 19/12/2021 11:49

@bethamb its in the dye stealer bit... Compare the control line on the first one to the last one - last one is way lighter. That means the last control line has stolen more dye.

Highly recommend NOT getting Clearblue weeks indicator .. I was exactly like you with test progression worries and moved onto the digitals. My 2-3 weeks never progressed to 3+ and it caused me a week of anxiety. Got bloodwork and HCG was way beyond threshold so these tests don't always work.

My best advice is accept your dye stealers... Get blood work 5 weeks and then early scan 6 weeks if anxious xx

Rachae · 19/12/2021 11:53

Also here's mine from 16 to 18 and not much difference. I panicked like you and I'm now 9 weeks pregnant - had 5 good scans so far xx

You're looking at the wrong line....as per posts above the test line won't get any darker now
