Just wondering if anyones had the same - I was taken to hospital a few days ago as I had seriously intense pain in my shoulder tip and over my whole bump (it was actually crippling on every level) it was also mainly in the middle and under my right rib. My infection markers are very very high (like 90 when the norm is under 10 😬) and I’ve been quite poorly. The first port of call was gallbladder/liver/kidneys/stomach and bladder, but nothings come up in scans. IV antibiotics are slowly (very slowly) bringing it down but I’m just wondering;
- how long do they let you have an unknown infection for?! I’m so concerned it’ll be affecting the baby and I’ve had 2 midwives who are friends baffled as to why they haven’t delivered at this point considering it’s been going on for 3 days with no obvious sign of where it’s coming from.
- has anyone had similar and had the baby out to battle the infection? Or what did they do?
I’m 35+4 so nearly nearly at early term. I also had racing pulse, breathlessness, high temp which is now gone and continuous headache and nausea. Pre eclampsia has been ruled out.
