Currently 33 weeks. My next appointment at the hospital I'll be 36+3. I have gestational diabetes but all I've been told is they'll probably deliver you early. No other discussion of birth options or when that would be.

When did you discuss it? I asked at an earlier appt but was told they'd discuss it nearer the time.

In my first pregnancy which was very straightforward it wasn't until the 36 week appointment that birth and birth 'plan' was discussed. I'm not sure why they leave it so late but seems to be the way things are done.
If you would like to request a c-section though you will need to make it known ASAP as you'll need to discuss with a consultant for them to approve it.

@Bells3032 I have gestational diabetes and I'm 32 weeks. My consultant spoke to me last appointment and my c section is already booked in for 38 weeks. I have severe polyhydraminos though so that might be a factor.

Mine was done at 36 weeks
