Is this anything to worry about? This is dc number 2 and don’t remember it happening with my first. They’re coming and going but it’s also shooting up my spine. Movements are fine if not a bit hyperactive! Could it just be baby has moved and squished a nerve? I’m scared that it feels a bit contraction-ey and is coming and going! Probably over did it with the cleaning Grin

Phone the maternity assessment unit and they can let you no if it’s anything to worry about, theyl no what to look out for with different types of back pain as it could be something worrying, or absolutely nothing. But if it’s coming and going like contractions it’s deff worth a phone call!

If you are in agony, go to A&E.

How did you get on OP

I had horrendous pain on one side of my lower back at around 20 weeks and it turned out weirdly to be a UTI, had antibiotics and then all was well for the rest of the pregnancy. Not sure if it’s similar for you with the pain up your spine but thought I would mention it. Sending hugs!
