what explanations could there be?

Ok, period is now about 13/14 days late did test on Sat, (10 days late) was negative, stil have foul taste in mouth and am feeling nauseous. Had terrible pains about a fortnight ago, as i remember from ds pregnancy. 4 days since test and dtill no period. Am thinking should try again, but don't want to waste the other test (as they are so pricey)! But am frightened now that could be some other problem for example would an ectopic pregnancy show negative or positive. Was thinking would do test 2 tomorrow, then visit dr on friday if af still not arrived. Any tips?

Dont worry ectopic would still show positive. When I started TTC I skipped a period. Had one in June never arrived in July Obviously thought I was preg but every test came back negative. Period came in August right on time. It had never happened in all the time id been having periods so still amazes me to this day. September period never came either but I was actually pregnant this time!! Leave it a few days retest and see your doc if youre worried. Went to my doc and he just said 'WELL sometimes you just miss periods' i mean WTF thanks for your help'!!!!! Im sure your fine

Thanks for that will make sure i get my next batch from there. Have to go and fetch ds from nursery now will wait until tomorrow to do test, just in case. Just getting over the disappointment of saturday and not ready to see that big negative sign today, would rather af came.
