Has this happened to anyone?

I tested (bfn) 3 months ago when I thought I was pregnant. However a few weeks on, I’ve been sick on and off (if I was pregnant it would be weeks 7-13) my stomach feels like it’s doing somersaults :(

I’m really confused as I’m still bleeding very heavy every 4 weeks (and experiencing horrendous cramps). The sickness comes on so suddenly and I feel very dizzy. Has this happened to anyone? Could I be pregnant? Or maybe there is something else going on?

Just needed to get it off my chest as I feel so confused.

Thank you both. I think the only reason I haven’t done another test is because I’m scared that it’ll be negative (like the first one) and that there’s something wrong with me. Silly I know, I’ll take one this weekend!

When you tested before how many dpo were you?

Please go to the doctors. You can have a negative pregnancy test and unusual symptoms if you have an ectopic pregnancy.

I’m not 100% sure when I ovulated - but it was day 29 of my cycle when I got the bfn first thing in the morning. (we had sex days 15 - 17)

Also my periods are quite irregular - anything from 28 to 36 days is normal for me.

I would say you need a test, and a check up from your gp as well. You need to also rule out other hormonal causes (pcos, perimenopause, thyroid just listing, not saying that's what's going on)

Tell the GP your symptoms and make sure you get a fullcheck up

You could have definitely missed a positive if you didn’t test again then! Everything crossed!
