HCG levels - a bit confused!

I had my hcg levels checked yesterday, I wasn't exactly sure how far along I am due to irregular periods, but myself and my midwife felt I was 5/6 weeks.
I had a loss at 33 weeks in June and have been non stop worrying since finding out I'm pregnant again, but luckily my midwife is lovely and doing anything she can to put my mind at ease, so she checked my hormone.
She text me my number earlier which is 19,436. She can't call me until later and typical me is overthinking everything 🤦🏼‍♀️ just wondered if anyone knew what this number would mean?

It's high - which is good. Probably more like 6 weeks than 5.
But meaningless without a repeated measurement 48 hrs later. They are most bothered by changes in HCG, rather than absolute values. It should roughly double every 48 hrs.

thank you 😊 I am due to to back, but sadly she can't see me again until Tuesday. I was more just curious as to what that number meant because I've never had this before so I don't understand any of it xx

Mine was 27000 at 7 weeks with twins so reckon you're around 6 weeks. They generally don't do a second one this late as numbers don't always escalate as fast. But it's a good number. Congrats

Had my second blood test today and just been told the hcg has increased from 19,436 to 59,064

I'm happy at this increase, but still not really sure if this is a high enough jump. Just trying to hang on for my scan on Monday and hoping everything looks okay 😣

54000 is a great number. It doesn't increase as fast later on. Good luck with the scan
