Hi all

Just wanted some advice really I am 17 weeks pregnant with second baby but this last week my breast have been agony so tender itchy and sensitive I am just wondering if this is normal I didn't have this with my first pregnancy but it's so intense now I can't even wear my bra as its just so painful and uncomfortable? If anyone has experienced this before have you found anything that works it's getting me sooo down atm. The pain is like a dull throbbing even my own hand accidently brushing it causes pain so any advice is hugely welcome.

I am 21 weeks pregnant and my breasts have been very itchy, especially at night when I take my bra off. I have woken up with blood inside my nightie where I have been scratching them and they have bruised really easily. I just bought some non-wired maternity bras in m+s which seem to be helping. I find it more uncomfortable to go without a bra though. Maybe some light cream to moisturise and help with stretch marks might be good x

Thank you for replying. I am sorry to hear ur experiencing similar. I'm struggling wearing a bra but struggling without too I have never not worn one so it's just really weird. I have been moisturising not that it's helping but the pain and tenderness is more unsettling for me than the itching. I have been measured and got maternity bras but nothing really helping atm. Hopefully it will settle soon hope all goes well in ur pregnancy.

I had this recently but I’m only 7 weeks.

According to google, it can be from your skin stretching as your breasts are growing. After moisturising, they seemed to calm down.

Oh yes. I'm 27 weeks and getting this really badly. I'm getting stretch marks, bruising, itching and pain.
I've found gentle heat can offer some relief so either a hot flannel or a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel. Then moisturise.
