I am miscarrying right?

I've got bright red blood with clots and cramping so I think I'm definitely miscarrying.

I kind of am blaming myself.

My cycles are slightly irregular and are longish. According to when I ovulated, I did a pregnancy test after the tww and it was negative. I've been unwell with kidney stones and went to A&E for that issue, the blood test didn't show a pregnancy. I then left it and was waiting for AF.

I had such sore boobs etc but my period wasn't coming. Based on the fact that a week and a half ago the bloods didn't pick up HCG I assumed my period is just playing up and I started doing reflexology to bring it on through this link ( ). All the comments usually say how their period arrives a few days after. I started doing it yesterday morning and by the evening I had light bleeding, thought I was starting my period. Was thinking yay it's finally come. After it's done I can start trying again next cycle. But then today I had no blood during the day, so I carried on doing the reflexology in the evening I noticed my boobs were still quite sore and that the blood was still very light and only present when I wiped.

I thought I'd do a pregnancy test, it was positive. I did a few more and got faint positives but an hour after I started bleeding red blood and last night I was passing clots and in a lot of pain. I do really believe the reflexology (no one else's fault but my own) brought this on. I just feel angry at myself. Sorry just felt like I neeeded to get it off of my chest

Last night I had excruciating pain and was passing clots. The same this morning.

The tests are now pretty much next to no line. However. Last night, there were lines on more than one test with different urine samples (see photos below)

I’m sorry OP, I know it’s hard and we look for a reason why.

To be really blunt Reflexology did not cause your miscarriage, it wasn’t anything you did or didn’t do. The pregnancy was simply never going to be viable.

Why will never really be answered. Take care of yourself.

@ttcbabyk just to echo lady above, you didn't cause this. You aren't to blame. Through no fault of your own, this pregnancy was not viable. The utter injustice of miscarriage, mixed with all the hormonal changes and physical pain make us demand answers and logical reasons to explain what's happened. But blaming yourself for a completely biological occurance won't help.

Please take time to recover and heal from this, both physically and emotionally. There is a group on MN about miscarriage that you may find useful 💐

It's in no way your fault. 25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage, most at a very early stage. Reflexology does not induce miscarriage.

These tests are all still very strong positives, so while that in no way means that the pregnancy is definitely continuing if your bleeding is slowing down and you're more than potentially 5 weeks pregnant it would be worth self-referring or getting your GP to refer you to an Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit for a scan.

Sorry op, I was misreading your tests - not strong positives, but there are still lines. If you are still getting positives in a few days it would still be worth referring.

Thanks all. They were defo positives weren't they? i wasn't just seeing things was i?
