I have this cheese craving while being pregnant I can't stand any type of meat or eggs I have gone off these foods completely due to the smell. So for breakfast I enjoy having cheddar cheese on my toast is this safe in pregnancy consuming cheese?
During my other meals I only eat veggie foods which I love

I seem to remember that hard cheese is safe to eat while pg. It's the soft/runny/mouldy cheese that you need to stay away from.

I ate so much cheese in both pregnancies. I think my body must have needed calcium or something.

Hard cheese is fine, it’s soft cheese that you need to avoid so your breakfast is fine :)

Yes to the cheese!!
Might be the calcium. Let me tell you I am in France and no one stops eating cheese during pregnancy- anything made with pasteurised milk is fine!! Here they are assessed with catching toxoplasmosis from your cats during pregnancy but cheese is fine - as long as from pasteurisiez milk.

I bloody love baby bells and Brie. More so during pregnancy.. I’m 35 weeks and I couldn’t have survived without cheese 😝 xo

*obsessed not assessed!
Any suggestion here of not eating any cheese would be considered blasphemy 😬 you can get soft cheese made from pasteurised milk quite easily if that’s your weakness xo

Trust your body to crave what it needs. If I eat too much cheese normally I get IBS symptoms but not in pregnancy when I can eat as much as I like!

Yes enjoy the cheese (just not the ones the nhs says to avoid)! While you can’t stomach egg and meat it is a reasonably good source of protein.
