Hi all,

I’m looking for some advice, I have a 6 year old boy and a 5 month old little girl. I found going from 1 child to 2 pretty easy as my daughter i a very laid back baby. I have found out today I’m pregnant and I’m terrified!! I wasn’t sure if I was finished having children but this pregnancy definitely wasn’t planned! I’m 36 will be 37 when the new baby is born. Just looking for some reassurance! I know it will be hard but dose anyone regret having a 3rd child so soon after the second? Or any regrets leaving such a small gap?

Thanks for your advice xxx

@leannelj85 I had an 8 year old, 3 month old and found out I was expecting again. My youngest were 11m apart...it was not planned at all. I had TTC for 2 years before falling pregnant with my 2nd so did not expect it.

It's tiring, I won't lie, but it's also wonderful. My youngest were so close as babies/toddlers...it was so cute. Dont worry, you will be fine. A tip, I bought a sling and wore my son for about 6m...let me be hands free to play with my daughter still.

What is Jamie Oliver's wife called? Is it Joules? Her first two were very close together and she wrote a book that focused a lot on that. Definitely worth a look.

Congratulations, you'll have hard snd easy times but you'll make it work for you.

We had a 6 year old and 16.5mth old when number 3 was born. Pretty easy in general but hectic and exhausting at times.
We had twins when 3rd was a couple of months from turning 3yr too, whole other level of exhausted but I loved it mostly. Now have a 6th but a 6 year gap so all older ones are at school and baby is so easy and chilled. Dh works away a lot and I manage solo a lot, I think you need some "me time". I make time to lift weights as my "me time", melts all the stresses away. Being organised and having good routines are vital for keeping on top of it all.
