Hi, just wondering around 19w is movement daily or still very random ie every few days?

I think technically it's still meant to be very random. I don't think I felt much unless I really tried to feel something at 19 weeks. They say a pattern will only really emerge at 28 weeks... which probably feels forever away!!!

I was not getting regular movement at 19 weeks with my third and was beginning to worry. Sure enough it started soon after that, I think around 20-21 weeks. At 24 weeks movements aren't exactly regular (they don't happen at exact times) but baby is much more active first thing in the morning and in the evenings.

Not usually regular at 19wks no. Baby is still so tiny and can move around into positions where you can’t feel them so can seem to go quiet x

FTM and mine only started at 19w and wasn't regular until 22 :)

Yep, can still be very intermittent at 19w. Especially if you have an anterior placenta which deadens the sensation of baby's movement.

Thank you all so much for helping put my mind at ease. Think im worrying a little more than I should be as this is my rainbow baby. I do have a DS but hes 11 so barely remember anything from that pregnancy. I did feel baby briefly earlier so defo a positive sign. Thanks again ladies xx

Hi @Dizzttc
Sorry nothing helpful to add here just wanted to ask what you have been feeling exactly ? How do early movements feel?
I only ask because I'm 20 weeks on Thursday and don't feel like I've been experiencing anything, not sure what I'm looking for though as this is my first baby. I had a scan a couple of weeks ago where they'd booked me in too early apparently but saw baby for a little bit and they were wriggling around, got another booked in for Friday. I thought I would be able to feel them by now. Just hoping they are all good in there (they because we don't know gender yet lol, there's only one) xx

FTM and I couldn't feel baby at all at 20 weeks- at least, I wasn't sure whether it was baby or gas. I have an anterior placenta and have been SO gassy in pregnancy so it's really hard to tell! At my 20 week scan he was really wriggly, flinging his arms and legs around and I couldn't feel a thing. I'm 22 weeks now and think I might be starting to feel things but it's still not obvious.
