Lots of braxton hicks after scan today, is it normal?

I am 21wks preg and had 2nd scan today - all ok but ever since I have had loads of braxton hicks contractions (at least that's what they seem like - tummy going rock hard) - baby is still very active and kicking lots but I'm concerned that I am having so many BH. Is this normal after a scan? Maybe baby is just bit phased by the scanning process?

my ds was VERY active and i always had wierd pains/contraction type pain.

When i had my 2nd scan i remember them pressing down really hard and i could tell my ds wasnt happy about it. At this age they are already quite big and if someone stuck a big metal thing on our heads i guess we wouldnt be happy!

It could just be a conincidence that happening at the same time.. If your worried you should always speak to midwife tho just for piece of mind..
