Hi, I had my first scan today and they’ve given me a growth chart with my height, weight and ethnicity on and a chart. I’m tall with a slightly high BMI but I have always been heavy despite being relatively slim my whole life. They weren’t concerned about my weight today as its not too high.

The chart is saying the baby would be on the 50th centile 4100g or 5000g on the 97th centile. To me this seems absolutely huge and it’s stressing me out that they think I will have a massive baby.

How accurate are these charts and how do they calculate the baby’s growth? Has anyone had these charts and they have been inaccurate?
