I'm 37 weeks today and sooooo desperate for my baby to be born. I know realistically it could still be a whole 5 weeks!!

Any tips on how to get through the next 3 weeks, at least? Without every second being consumed by wishing it was her due date already?

With omicron out and about now, I don't feel comfortable leaving the house, which isn't helping!

Anyone else feel like they're so close yet so far?

I'm spending my days cleaning, napping, eating everything in sight and watching cheesy Christmas films. Not really leaving the house gives me a great excuse to wear comfy clothes like pyjamas and to not wear a bra. I'm quite happy for baby to stay put for now, but I do get really uncomfortable and the Braxton Hicks are ramping up

If you're anything like me - unpack and repack your hospital bag multiple times a day. Haha.

I don't have any words of advice, but I wanted to stop by and say I totally know how you're feeling OP. I'm currently 37+2 and I'm so done with being pregnant now.
This is my 3rd DC, my previous two were born at 37 weeks exactly, and 37+1, so I've had in my head that I'd go into labour at around the same time.
Mine 2 are of school age too, so I'm so anxious that they're going to bring covid home (again).
I just want this baby out!!!

Is it your first? Enjoy having nothing to do, remember that the longest stretch of sleep you may get once you go into labor is 2 hours ish for weeks or months, so sleep a lot and organise/ tidy. And then do nothing

Honestly, just lay down. Do nothing. And revel in it! I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd and there is no such thing as resting and taking it easy and I so so so wish I'd made the most of it the first time around! Go for a lay down in the afternoon and watch you favourite shows. Cook nice meals that you can enjoy, hot, with both hands, because it could be a while before that happens again! Just literally enjoy it because you're about to be busy and tired for a long time, it is wonderful don't get me wrong, but so fucking tiresome 🤣 so for now, REST!
