Nervous for next ultrasound and symptoms disappeared at 8 weeks!

Any other pregnant woman like me? I’m so nervous for my next ultrasound. My first ultrasound was 10 days ago and baby was measuring 6 weeks 5 days and HB was 141. My next scan (I begged my doctor for a reassurance and growth scan) for 2 weeks after and it’s coming up in a few days and I’m panicking. I’m so scared Incase the baby’s heart stops beating! I had a mmc at 7 weeks last pregnancy (didn’t even see the first heartbeat) so you can all understand my fear! I know after the next scan I’ll be a bit more calm but I thought that about my first scan but 2 days after that I started having real bad anxiety again. Can anyone reassure me or anyone experiencing this aswell in early pregnancy? Especially when I’ve hardly experienced much symptoms since my scan. Only very mild nausea sometimes and slight tender breasts...

I’m also 8W1D today, has anyone else experienced on and off symptoms/symptoms disappearing and baby still fine!? I swear I had more symptoms with my last pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage. My breasts were so sore before and now they’re non-exsistent.

Hi @KarinaWhyte. You have my sympathies! I'm also a bit nervous about my dating scan tomorrow morning. Like you I've already been scanned (twice, actually) and all was well, but it's so hard to shake the fear when you've had a loss.

Like you I also experienced a loss of symptoms between 6 and 9 weeks. The wait for the scan I had at 9 weeks was horrendous because I was convinced I'd experienced an mmc. To my surprise, baby was measuring in the 90th centile, and the heartbeat was normal. (It was an NHS reassurance scan so I wasn't dated/hb wasn't monitored).

Because I'd already experienced the loss of symptoms and saw that it didn't mean anything in my case at that time, it has helped with the wait for the next scan, but I'm definitely struggling again today! With the exception of my nipples being darker, I really do not feel pregnant at all.

I will have my fingers crossed for you, but I think every pregnancy is just really different.

Thank you so much for your reassuring comment! My sore boobies are even gone! I did experience slight nausea yesterday and that was reassuring but I honestly felt worse with my mmc than atm!

@deliwoman1 next scan is in 3 days! I’m excited but nervous, even had a dream the heart stopped beating last night :(

@KarinaWhyte I know it's been a couple of years since you posted so sorry for revisiting this, I just wondered how you got on?
