TMI!!!! **PHOTO* mucus plug??

TMI!!!

I have been losing little pieces of my mucus plug over the past week or so and yesterday lost a bigger chunk of it (more mucus like than what I've lost today) - I've been having cramps on and off the past week too, as well as since losing the larger amount yesterday. I have been clearing my bowels but never had all this with my 1st - I lost the whole of my mucus plug, only had a couple blood streaks in and then went into labor an hour or so later..

Would you say this is more mucus or just an increase in discharge, definitely isn't as mucus like/snot like, like yesterday but still has that same kind of colour and texture...

I also lost a larger amount than this yesterday, almost a whole toilet roll square...^^

I get this all the time and am fairly early on in my pregnancy. There's a lot going on down there in pregnancy.

I wouldn't say so, I've been having loads like this for weeks, every time I wipe the tissue is covered in it and I'm only 33 weeks. Mucus plug is normally blood tinged.

@mummyh2016 bloody show is what has the blood streaks, this is the last part of the mucus plug to come away - clear mucus plug is the first part coming away (gave my midwife a call this afternoon)...although this is completely normal and nothing to worry about unless waters go or contractions begin xx

No definitely not your mucus plug. It’s usually much darker in colour.

This looks more like normal stringy pregnancy mucus. Some don’t get much, but some of us (un)lucky ones get it in abundance!

That's not your plug. This was mine at 40 weeks

@grace1991 this is part of my mucus plug, midwife confirmed for me and said it's a small piece
