Hello, may I ask whether anyone knows if it is safe to use Tisserand 'Real Calm' oil in a diffuser when pregnant? The oil is made up of Lavender, Bergamot and Patchouli. Thank you.

These oils supposedly are safe from the second trimester onwards.
I have a history of miscarriages and infertility past so I stopped diffusing oils completely when I became pregnant this time.

I also found out that you should never diffuse oils in the same room as an infant under 6 months of age. So unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting back to my diffusing anytime soon :(

Its hard to know what to do as midwives recommend and allow some essential oils to bring to the hospital. So I guess if the oils are on the safe list its about your comfort with risk.

Thank you Phoenix 2021, and warmest congratulations, you have so much to look forward to. I have also had multiple miscarriages but, like you, had a happy ending with my son Archie. I wanted to buy the diffuser and oils for his partner who is expecting a baby next summer. I will give it to her and recommend she talk to her midwife.
