York or Harrogate? Which one?

Any body have any experience with giving birth in either York or Harrogate hospital? I don’t know how to choose between the two, especially with covid making it harder to go and look around anywhere.

Hi JMPB I am actually considering both as well with a preference for Harrogate, have you made up your mind in the meantime ?

I found Harrogate great and much better than friends' tales of post natal LGI. Maybe I was lucky but it was quite calm and quiet (except one annoying patient) and nice helpful midwives after my sections. They didn't mind dh staying till quite late in the evening as he was a help. It was several years ago though.

I decided on York as it’s closer and easier to get to :)
