Hey guys, I'm 9 weeks 2 days pregnant and my gosh, I've had no appetite since week 6! I just cannot bring myself to eat anything but a few Pringles through the day. I've also had weeks of constant nausea from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep, I just can't get out of bed. My super nose is the worst at the mo, I can't stand the smell of the living room or the kitchen, or the shower drains! I even heave when OH opens the window to let fresh air in or when I can smell his breath. Everything's driving me mad lol! GrinI've tried Prochlorperazine anti nausea tablets but they just seem to immediately knock me asleep which is awesome for night time but rubbish when I have to work. I'm wondering if to ring the doctors for an alternate solution or maybe for a new nose haha!

Guess I'm just having a bit of a moan lol! Is anyone else feeling the same? Confused

I found travel sickness bands around my wrists really helped with nausea. I don't know if it was all in my head but I found when I was wearing them the nausea really subsided and I could survive work...just (I was a teacher at the time)

Hi ladies,

I feel your pain!
I’m 7 +3 today and I’ve been struggling this past week! I can smell EVERYTHING even the air 🤣 I have a constant chip pan fat stuck in my nose and zero desire to eat.
I live off jacket potato’s and lollyices.
I have been prescribed cyclazine to help with the nausea whilst in work (I’m a teacher) which helps me not physically vomit.
I’m just exhausted and constantly feel sick but after my beloved jacket potato I feel slightly better!
Can stomach anything ginger so I’m out of ideas!
Please tell me this gets better soon 🤣!!

I was exactly the same, could have wrote this thread myself! From 12 weeks it all calmed down for me, appetite came back and the smells disappeared. Fingers crossed for you, hopefully a few more weeks and it will settle for you.

I had this during pregnancy and loads of food aversions replaced the nausea. For me only time helped, the nausea eased off around 9weeks but food aversion came, I couldn't stand much so ate what I felt like, couldn't stand hot drinks and this was in Winter! Some goods I could eat again through the pregnancy l, seeing improvements from about 20 weeks but some things only came back after having the baby! Hope you'll feel better soon!
