I’m 36 weeks pregnant and a FTM and just feel absolutely rubbish. Almost like my body is giving up!!

I’m exhausted, heartburn still bad, piles (sorry TMI) I’m now on iron tablets and suffering with De Quervains in my hands. Also feeling so so emotional, hormones I guess but partly I’m feeling sorry for myself too. Feeling achy and flu like today too. Not enough to render me housebound and covid test negative. Rant over! Tell me I’m not alone…..

Anyone else? Despite the tiredness after the birth and with a newborn will I feel better from all of this?

No advice I’m afraid but right there with you - feeling awful at 36 weeks - nausea, stomach pain not sleeping , slow & exhausted. Came on so suddenly from 18-30 weeks felt great then bam - also worried about feeling better after birth as could not look after a newborn feeling like this

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and feeling royaly DONE now..! This is however my 3rd baby and I can promise you if I could click my fingers and be after birth with a newborn right now I would, even though post partum is hard work it's nothing compared to heavily pregnant (especially with 2 toddlers to care for 24/7!)

Hope this last slog goes quick for you both, you're so near now 🤞 just rest as much as you can xx
