Hey, I've just found out I'm pregnant again. Got 3+ on a clear blue today and I'm 5+3.
I'm just all of a sudden really worrying about an ectopic pregnancy, I'm getting little aches on the right lower side but I literally mean the tiniest aches, they're not getting any worse and are on and off.

No bleeding or any other signs but I'm just really paranoid all of a sudden. I've booked myself in for an early scan at 6+1 to make sure everything is where it should be.
Does anyone else start worrying themselves about this kind of stuff?
I've had 2 previous miscarriages and then went on to have a healthy baby, he's now 9 months old 😌
Think I just need to hear some positives

Completely normal. Where the egg left the ovary, that bits grows to produce all the hormones.
There are things happening and a bit of pressure and pain is to be expected.

@Loki01
Ah thank you for this! I never knew that happened 😌

I am at 5 weeks too and have the same thing. Google tells me it is probably the uterus stretching.
I do worry but not much you can do but wait...

it's quite normal to have weird aches and pains at the start of pregnancy as things grow and embed. Unless its PAINFUL you are usually ok

@GrapefruitsAreGreat
Ah congratulations, how are you feeling?
That's why I booked a scan, just too impatient 🤣

@Bells3032
Yeah don't get me wrong it does make me go 'hmm wonder what that is' but it doesn't make me think 'oh this is painful'.
Just weird little stabbing type pains, almost feels like I'm having an injection in the area 😅

that's fairly normal. And your clear blue seems to be where it should be so please just try and stay relaxed (easier said than done i know).

Lots of luck

Congratulations, it’s good you’ve got the scan booked for reassurance. I had the same at the start of this pregnancy, lots of pains on one side and was also worried about ectopic. I’m not sure why it was all one side, possibly because I ovulated from that side or it was implanted on that side but scan at 7 weeks showed it was in the right place and am now 19 weeks and all fine.

Lostintranslatio · 10/12/2021 15:31

I also had one sided pain. It was not very strong but it made worry about an ectopic. I had an early scan at 7weeks and it turned out that the baby implanted just right there where I was feeling the pain 😊
