1st trimester time off work1

Yesterday 12:09Motherofrabbits87

Hello,
I am 11 +2 weeks and I am currently off sick yesterday and today, I have had a few other days since I found out.
I feel guilty, but generally feel so weak and nauseaus, although haven't been sick. I know I'm protected but I feel bad as before my pregnancy I had a lot of sick leave for thyroid issues and was put in to formal warnings in the past and struggled a lot.
Really hoping it settles a bit soon.

Anyone else had to take time off sick?

I work for the NHS in an admin role and my work is currently very stressful, we are understaffed and can't get things done. It doesn't help my situation.

I've had time off and although my boss is very sniffy about it, what does she expect? I work in a customer facing role so in my first trimester I was constantly feeling sick and would have to run to the toilet. Your health is first. I'm 20 weeks now and I called in sick twice last week with back pain. I stress about it no end, but then i think to myself my health is first and so is my baby. I wouldn't worry yourself honestly. They can't sack you. I've got to the point now where a doctor has done me a note to limit my shifts and time on my feet as work were taking the piss out of me
