Cramp pain 7 weeks

Hi all,

7 weeks pregnant - first time mum. I was reading that it's normal to have period like cramps as long as they are not long lasting. Can someone define how long is "long lasting"?

I had them all the way through the first trimester. Felt like crampy period pains. Currently 27 weeks x
