FTM with no clue how to arrange nursery

I’ve bought a large 3 drawer chest of drawers with changing table on top - wondering what I should be putting in this - how others have organised. Eg if top drawer is for changing supplies - diapers / wipes / cream / what else?

I’ve also been gifted a breastfeeding/ bottle feeding caddy/ basket for keeping upstairs so don’t need to run down all the time - any recommendations of handy things to keep in here - burp cloths etc ?

Any advice appreciated ! Thanks

I have a wooden chest of drawers in the nursery with a changing bit on the top. I keep nappies, wipes and bags in the top drawer and others are for clothes.

I also had a changing mat downstairs during the day, one of the thick padded ones that slid under the sofa. and in my Caddy were nappies, wipes, bags and a spare outfit. in the newborn days I'd start to change dd and she would wee all. over herself so this was very useful!!

In our caddy we keep nappies, wipes, a portable changing mat, cream, muslins, a change of clothes in case of leaks, antibac and some hand cream (your hands will end up really dry!).

We have a changing table upstairs too but hardly ever use it as we tend to rely on the caddy!

Nappy sack too unless you’re using a nappy bin with cartridges inside. We’ve ended up with 2 and it’s brilliant having one up and one downstairs!
