Strange pain 30 weeks pregnant

Hi guys, first post here I’m a newbie. 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow, I have felt pelvic pressure since about 18 weeks, but the past 2/3 weeks I’ve had pain. It’s mainly in the crevice between your thigh and your vagina, I’m not too sure what it’s called because it’s not exactly the groin. It started only in the left but this week I’m in so much pain on either side. It hurts to walk, to turn over in bed, to climb stairs and to get out of the car. I’ve googled and PGP has come up but that seems to cause pain everywhere except this little crevice? I do get pain in my lower back also but that’s intermittent. Anyone else had this pain in this area and know what it is??

I've had it to

Feels like I'm spraining my groin when turning over and it's like a sharp pain sometimes and other times it's a dull ache

But only a professional will know, Give your midwife a call

Its pgp, I have it atm exactly where you're on about. I can't really describe the pain but it's weird! 3rd pregnancy and first time having it this bad

@shas19 oh okay! Have you had it confirmed by your midwife that it’s PGP? What have they suggested to ease it? @Strangevipers I unfortunately never got given a number for my midwife, said they have stopped giving it out due to being inundated with covid concern calls! So I have to wait for my next appointment next week

I have this exact pain in the exact place you’re describing (since about 18 weeks) and midwife has said it’s PGP. She recommended a support belt for bump, pregnancy pillow at night (to pop between legs) and cat/cow exercises. I’ve also been doing pregnancy yoga which I think has helped too. Gentle movements and not overdoing it (but keep moving) are important. I also saw a physio through work (wasn’t entirely helpful) but similar things suggested. I hope it eases for you x

Sleeping with a pillow between legs, could try a support belt perhaps. When you get dressed sit down when putting trousers on its alot easier and less painful

@AllSinging thank you! Was convinced it couldn’t be PGP just because of where it was, everything I read never mentioned that little nook I can feel it in. Do you still have the pain it’s just lessened? I did some butterfly poses last night and woke up even stiffer

I’d thoroughly recommend an appointment with an osteopath
