I’ve had a positive PCR and am 29+4. I’m only experiencing mild symptoms at the moment. Just wondering if anyone had Covid In their third trimester and went on to have a healthy full-term baby?
I have had both jabs, I was due for a booster at the end of November but hadn’t got round to booking it and then got Covid - kicking myself now!

I had it at 15 weeks. Now 27+5 and all fine so far. Make sure you start your fragmin injections and take the full ten day course.

I have not been told anything about fragmin injections? Although I am waiting for a phone call.
Were you double jabbed?

Yes I was double jabbed pre pregnancy. Fragmin injections is the protocol for most trusts now for covid positive pregnant women

I had Covid when I was 30 weeks. I had both jabs and my symptoms stayed mild through. Told my midwife and my hospital but they didnt offer me fragmin injections (didnt even know about them until recently).
Try to not worry too much. Thankfully, you had both vaccines and if you only experiencing mild symptoms it most likely will stay like that. How many days you are on now?
NHS does not offer scan after Covid, I had a privet one after 10 days and the baby is growing nicely and healthy. 35+5 now with no issues.
Rest a lot and drink plenty of fluid!

Yes me! I had it last year at 32 weeks. Baby was absolutely fine, and ended up having to be evicted at nearly 42 weeks! She was far too comfy in there hehe. She's now a thriving, happy ten month old! Smile

Meant to say, I had it last year before vaccines were available. The fatigue was the worst part for me (not helped by the fact DH also had it at the same time, and we had our then 2 year old to look after!). I lost taste and smell for a good while too, but DD was absolutely fine!
