Going places in Covid times

Hi all!

I am currently just under 4 months pregnant and double vaccinated. I am taking all the right precautions, mask wearing, hands face space etc. But as covid cases are rising again I wondered if anyone else in a similar position is doing anything more or avoiding events/meet ups entirely? Just interested.

Thanks

I'm not doing anything else specific really. I work from home most of the time, going into the office maybe a day a week. However, I have massive exposure which is out of my control (2 kids in primary school, one in nursery and husband is a secondary school teacher) so with all that exposure anyway which will go on right up until my due date it seems a bit pointless to go mad about restricting myself in other ways - it's most likely to come into the house through a family member rather than me.

I'm in the overly cautious camp and am avoiding everything. I am a very risk averse person though 😊

I’m definitely limiting social contacts and trying to persuade my OH to start working from home. Probably being overly cautious but mostly I just don’t want either of us to be required to isolate in case it affects my antenatal appointments or my partner’s ability to attend.

I am in my third trimester and I work in a busy university. I use the tube in London. I am very exposed, but I try to minimise with mask wearing, hand washing, safe distance when possible. I am going on maternity at the end of term and honestly can't wait as I do feel unsafe now that cases are rising and I'm in the most vulnerable phase of pregnancy in regarda to covid. :(
