Pink lines only showing at night?

Hi, I hope you don't mind me posting this in the pregnancy section rather than the conception but I figured women who are already pregnant were probably the best to ask. I asked in chat yesterday but it's sort of tailed off.

So I'm only 10dpo, but yesterday evening I dipped IC tests and thought I saw very faint lines. Took a FR and a CB, both negative. Later on I took 4 more tests and the lines were quite visible.

This morning with FMU and throughout the day there were no lines to be seen. I even took a different test (pink dye) and was negative.

I've just tested again this evening and the lines are back? I know it's very early and these lines are probably evaps but is there anyone who only tested positive at night time? Is this a possibility or more likely I am not pregnant and these tests are showing false positives/evaps?

The first pic is the tests I took last night and the second is the ones I took not long ago.

Typically it would be the reverse - you’d test positive in the morning when urine is most concentrated, and negative in the evening when there are lower detectable levels of hormones in your urine diluted from drinking water all day.

The most reliable way to test this early would be a blood test. If not, wait a week or two and try again (although I know the waiting is agony!!!)

Good luck!

Have you done a frer or an early clear blue yet? I think those are too dark for evaps but most cheapos aren't quite good enough for early testing. Tell us how you get on!

Thank you so much for your responses. I didn't get any results with FMU, but tried again with smu and got some faint lines. Was all excited and happy, then I wiped and discovered I have started spotting. My period is due Saturday and I always spot a few days before so that's the for me. I knew it was too good to be true, I knew these were just false positives. Teach me to dare to hope after 4 years.

I always got darker positives with a smaller amount of wee. If I used first morning it was a big wee and lines were barely visible. With my son I tested positive, then negative, then positive for about 2-3 days! It was awful I thought I’d miscarried!

First response early results have always been the most sensitive tests for me. Fingers crossed for you x
