Faint positive after miscarriage

Hi everyone
I found out I was pregnant in august and in September I found out I had a missed miscarriage and I had a D&C to remove pregnancy. I went back after a month and turns out there was some tissue left over so I had to take the tablet which is the medical miscarriage management. It’s been 3 weeks now and I just took a pregnancy test which is showing a faint positive. Has anyone had anything similar? I’m scared because I really want to be pregnant but I don’t know if anything’s left over? What do you guys think left over or new pregnancy?

Hello I'm in exactly the same position, MMC end of September DandC 01.10, started testing negative three weeks ago after being confirmed the pregnancy was a partial molar and my bloods last week were at 4, have had painful breasts and cramping for days and I'm testing faint positive, I'm not sure if I am or aren't pregnant? Do you have a pic of your test?

So sorry for your loss! I have never felt a heartbreak like this :( I don't know anyone that's going through the same thing as me so I thought this would be my best go! I really hope I'm pregnant again and yes I do but it won't let me post as I'm a new member.

Hi @Konkon22 did you test negative after all your treatment? If yes then its likely to be a new pregnancy. The test will get stronger too.

Good luck

Did you have a negative test inbetween? I had a MC end of September and the pregnancy tests were still showing as positive until beginning of November. Fingers crossed for youDaffodil

After my surgery, I was bleeding for a month and tested positive in my bloods due to the leftover tissue that they didn't remove during the d&c. I was given the medical management a day after as there wasn't enough tissue for surgery again. They said I should test negative after 2 weeks. I stopped bleeding 2 days after the tablet. It's now been 3 weeks. I didn't take a test before today. So I'm unsure if I've tested negative at all.

I didn't test in between as I was so busy and have just assumed that everything's okay as no more bleeding or pain. For some reason today I just thought to grab a test. Thank you !

@Konkon22 I'm so sorry for your loss, it definitely is heartbreaking. If you have another rest try again in the morning and see if it's any darker? It's so confusing isn't it I feel for you

cookielove · 13/12/2021 07:27

Oh @Konkon22 have you tested again?

Is there any progression?
