bleeding in early pregnancy

Hi everyone

I'm just writing on this to hopefully give me some positivity and hope that my pregnancy isn't ending..

I had an ectopic pregnancy in September which required surgery and I lost one of my tubes so you can imagine the thrill of finding out I was pregnant last month!

However, since finding out I was pregnant I had on off spotting for around 2 weeks.. which yesterday turned into bright red bleeding with small clots, I'm not experiencing any pain apart from occasional very very mild back ache.. I have told myself that this is probably the end of my pregnancy but am still holding on to the slightest bit of hope that it isn't. I am booked in for a scan anyway on Friday as my levels we're going up but not quite hitting target for how many weeks.. I have just rang GAU who told me because I have no pain just to wait until Friday..

Can anybody share any stories if they have been through similar?? I feel absolutely heartbroken at the thought of losing another pregnancy 😢 xxx

Hi @emmaelizabethx I’ve had a bleed since last night. Just been for a scan and been told it’s a hematoma. It doesn’t sound great but apparently quite normal and should be ok. Baby’s size and heartbeat was good. Fingers crossed for you xxx

EmJay do you mind me asking what your bleeding was like? If TMI I apologise but I've been sat on Google for hours 😩 x

It’s been pinky but the sonographer said I could expect some red blood too x

Yeah mine has been pink for almost 2 weeks.. then red as of last night, I'm praying mine is that aswell but I think in my heart I know 😢 I'm really pleased that your baby is well hun! ❤️ xx

During one of my pregnancies I started bleeding early on. Passed terrible clots too and had mild backache. I went to the early scan thinking it was just confirmation I had lost it. I was so shocked to discover all was well. They never found a cause for mine. Baby was born healthy. Try not to worry. No matter the good or bad stories you get here, you really won’t know until your scan. Good luck x

Hey guys... I started passing a few clots. Did another clear blue and it had gone down to 1-2 weeks, blood test at the hospital confirmed a miscarriage 😢 xx
