I'm 24 weeks pregnant and am struggling with work

I had a risk assessment at 7 weeks nothing since then
I'm working from home 8 hours a day on my kitchen chair
It's call centre work and extremely busy call after call angry customer after another

I'm exhausted and hormonal some days sick
I know myself I haven't been myself this pregnancy struggling with my mood
Previous to this on 60mg prozec and came of when I found out I was pregnant

Have the usual pregnancy symptoms sore back and nausea

My issue is work they are really giving me a hard time over stats. They said my sales are good but my conversation Ie the amount of calls u I take Vs how much I convert into sales is poor .

My boss rang me this morning and had me In tears he went through I really don't need this pressure it's causing me so much stress and I dread getting up everyday

Do you think it is a reasonable request to get signed off by the doctor do I have any grounds to do so

Hi lovely, of course you can be signed off if you feel work is affecting you.

2 things though - One have you discussed how you're feeling with your manager? Have you any ideas on practical things they can put in place that would make work better for you?? And two, when signed off, if its non pregnancy related eg a cold they can use that sickness against you for absence management as per your company policy. If it's pregnancy sickness then they can't log that the same as regular sickness and can't manage you on it. So be clear with your GP that it's due to the pregnancy you are finding work difficult 🙃
