Hi everyone I have a 1 year old son and I'm 36 weeks pregnant with a little girl I wanted my kids close in age

Me and my son are really close hes a proper mummy's boy

The closer to my due date I get I cant help feel sorry for him because I cant explain theres a baby coming and I'm worried how hes going to feel

Has anyone else felt this way
How did you help your other kids prepare and except another baby

Tia

Hun you shouldnt feel guilty because you're giving your son a family/friend for life!!! Its the opposite, not be sorry for him but be happy for him! He will have who to play with who to grow old with xx

Aw OP I remember when dc2 was born and the hormones of my milk coming in kicked in on day 4 after birth, just crying and crying for dc1, missing him as I was so busy with dc2 and feeling like id made a mistake.

Now they are the best of friends and when one is out of the house the other asks when they will be back, they cuddle and play and are really close, I can’t think of anything better I could have done for dc1.

He will love his new sibling and will get used to sharing you with his sister, he won’t remember any different x
