Morning all

A bit about us, we have just found out we are pregnant again with our rainbow baby, we are under the recurrent miscarriage clinic who found I have thrombophilia- prothrombin gene defect, so basically my blood clots more than usual. My consultant said that is more than likely why our 3 other pregnancies didnt progress due to clots forming in the placenta and causing it to fail.

So... he's prescribed me cyclogest, asprin 150mg and clexane to commence the moment we have our BFP up to 6 weeks post delivery, 🤞 we get that far.

My question is and I know that this sounds stupid or maybe subjective, but for thoses on clexane for a long period of time did you get a case or bag to put the clexane in??

For example if your our to dinner or staying round family's the syringes are not rolling around the bottom of your handbag?

Thought I ask others opinions before I waste money.

Thank you for reading and hope everyone is well xxxx

Congratulations on your pregnancy! 🌺

I am in the same position. After having 3 miscarriages, I was diagnosed with
Factor II prothrombin mutation. So I am on Clexane and 150mg aspirin.
If I go out somewhere I usually put it in the car or my coat pocket. It makes sense to get a little bag so I might get something like this myself.

I was on clexane for both my full term pregnancies (and the ones I lost inbetween) and usually you have to take them 3 months after birth as well so I was on them for a year at a time - to be honest I was just flexible with the time I'd take the injection to avoid carrying it with me even though the needle retracts into the case I preferred it to then go straight into a sharps box. if I was overnight somewhere I'd take the small sharps box you can get - I had a massive bin sized one for home
