Hey guys,
I'm 16 weeks and I take a pregnacare vitamin tablet and I have to take aspirin everyday. I've heard that taking vitamin D is good aswell. Can I start taking it along with all my other tablets or is the pregnacare vitamin enough?

It's fine to take extra Vitamin D3 with a Prenatal and Aspirin - particularly during Winter as most people are Vitamin D deficient. There's only 400 iu in the Pregnacare Original which isn't a lot - you could easily take another 400 to 1000 iu separately if you wanted to be sure you were getting enough.

But I wouldn't personally recommend taking more than 2000 iu daily without getting your levels checked first with a blood test (although some articles say up to 4000 iu without testing is safe, but I prefer to err on the side of caution as you don't pee excess Vitamin D out, unlike some other vitamins).
