Hey all,

Just after some reassurance really. I have been bleeding quite heavily just like the 3rd day of a period for 2 weeks now. At first I did think this was my period as my cycles aren't regular, but when it carried on I decided to do a pregnancy test yesterday and today. Both are clearly positive!

My question is that, has anyone experienced this before? Am I having a miscarriage? If so would I bleed for 2 weeks consistently and would the HPTs come back positive?

I don't have any pregnancy symptoms which is also strange as I was very sick in my previous healthy pregnancies. I called the EPU and have been told I can't self refer and can't seem to get through to my GP.

If I go back to my previous menstruation cycle, I would be between 8-9 weeks pregnant. I would love to be pregnant again but not getting my hopes up with what is happening.

Anyone been in a similar situation?

Hello. Hope you are okay, I had a similar experience and it was so stressful. I had heavy bleeding with a previous pregnancy, I had bleeding and cramps that lasted weeks but I was referred to EPAU through my GP and had blood tests to confirm my hcg levels were doubling as they should be and a scan to rule out an ectopic/miscarriage. Mine was put down to unexplained (possibly extremely heavy implantation bleeding) and baby was okay. I would definitely keep trying to get through to your GP if I was you.
