Another mmc after seeing heartbeat twice.

This one’s broke me. Last mmc there was no heartbeat. This time I heard it twice, once at 6+1 and again at 6+6.
Went for another scan today when I should have been 8 weeks their dates 8+5 my dates and was told baby had stopped growing at approx 7 weeks so I’m other words the day after my last scan.
I have got to go for yet another nhs scan on Monday to confirm and then go from there.
Sono said today the gestational sac has grown but definitely no heartbeat anymore and the sac is a normal shape so yet again my body is just refusing to let go.
Don’t know the point of this post really, no one knew I was pregnant so I’ve got no one to talk to and I just feel completely alone

I have no practical advice but just want to send the warmest thoughts your way. I’m so sorry for your loss x

Thankyou sweetheart. Still trying to process it all. Wish I hadn’t seen the heartbeat now. If I ever find out I’m pregnant again I will avoid early scans like the plague. They clearly mean nothing at all xx

Exactly the same story here. 2 mmc's, second one after seeing heartbeat in an earlier scan. I'm so sorry, the shock is awful.

It is statistically very much likely to be extremely bad luck for want of a better phrase, rather than an underlying problem. I went on to have three successful pregnancies afterwards. I hope that gives you some hope at a terrible time.

As pp said, i have no advice but sending love and hugs at this devastating time. I had a mmc in july and a chemical in april so know how you feel. Take care of yourself. Xx

No advice just wanted to send my thoughts.

I'm so sorry. I'm currently recovering from surgical treatment for an ectopic pregnancy and really struggling. My partner is a superstar and I've told quite a few friends who are being really supportive but somehow I still feel very alone.

I know that feeling too well @oklets I also feel that some people are of the opinion that it’s just a bunch of cells. Well this week my baby would have had fingers and toes, to me that’s a baby 😢

My second MMC was also after seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks (stopped growing 9 weeks). I decided not to have a scan next time but I did cave and had one at 9.5 so later than previous mmc gestation. All was fine and continues to be now in 2nd trimester. 🤞 I got there so don’t lose hope! X
