Hi,

This morning I woke up at 4am with intense period cramps and had a bloody show.

7.30am my waters broke

I've been checked by the hospital and my waters have definitely gone been leaking all day!
They said that period cramps are not labour?
So they suggested I come in tomorrow morning at 7am for an induction.

These period cramps are around 30 to 40 seconds around every 10 to 15 mins?

Any tips on how to progress or any induction stories following waters bearking?

Thank you 😊

Keep moving! Bounce on a gym ball, walk up and down the stairs etc...... all my labour has started as period pains. Good luck!

Stay upright. Do not lie down. Bounce on your ball and put some comedy on to get the oxytocin flowing.

My labours started as period cramps too! I would say you are in early labour. Being up is good but do rest too, you’ll need your strength for the main event!

Keep an eye on the duration and intensity of the cramps, if they get closer together and more intense that would signify going into established labour

I'd say early labour too, my first labour was like that for maybe 12 hours before my water's went and then like that for probably another 12 hours before it really got going (I was putting in fence posts at the time and thought I was just over doing it 😂)
