Completely new to the site as just found out a week or so again that I'm pregnant.
My dates put me at 5 weeks now and I'm much more anxious than my last pregnancy 5 years ago (assuming that's because I had a pretty tough time of it with various issues).

I called the GP and had to fill out an online self referral form for the midwife team. The automatic response email said they will be in touch around 10-12 weeks to arrange my booking appointment but this seems like forever away.

I've had the odd day of nausea or tiredness but nothing like last time where I was sick everyday for 20 weeks which was horrible yet reassuring. The last couple of days I've had stomach cramps which is making me more nervous and just don't feel pregnant.

Any tips for stressing less and getting to that first appointment at 10-12 weeks? Also top tips for hiding the lack of drinking over Christmas?!

Thanks in advance
