Hi ladies. Im currently 12DPO. I had a “burrowing” feeling in my stomach (which I also had around the same time when I got pregnant with my son and believe was implantation) and then some light spotting at 8-9 DPO. I tested at 8DPO and had a very faint positive, then a positive digital same day.

I retested the next day at 10DPO and the line had gotten darker.

This morning I’ve been having some cramping which I’m worried could mean a chemical pregnancy. I took another test and the line doesn’t look any darker to me than the one 2 days ago. But I just did a FRRR (which is not meant to be used until first day of missed period, which would be tomorrow), and it looks like a strong line already to me.

All the tests were done around same time of day. I might just be overthinking it but does this look ok? And is it normal to have cramping on what I think is a few days post implantation?

Correction: first test was 9DPO not 8

Hey, I'd recommend sticking with FRER and taking a view of another 4 days. One test can look dramatically different 4 days later... But not just 1 day. Clear blue are the devil, stay clear! Xx

Rachae · 02/12/2021 18:28

Ps yep very strong line - you've got yourself a dye stealer on the frer 😁

Glitterbug86 · 02/12/2021 21:18

Thanks for responding Rachae. Oh didn't know that about CB! These are actually some random brand from my local chemist. I picked up a 2 pack. And then I just bought the same brand today for comparison. But I'm fairly reassured by the line on the first response

First response are actually the only brand reliable 6 days before your period is due ....they are much more accurate than clearblue

Glitterbug86 · 03/12/2021 09:54

Thanks, I didn't realise but will stick with FRER in future! The first response above is actually a first response rapid result not early result, which says you can use from day 1 of missed period. That's why I was surprised to get such a dark line the day before my period was due. The packing on the FRER/FRRR is so similar that i accidentally bought it. Will make sure to stick with FRER in future

@Glitterbug86 in my experience frrr are exactly the same, I think it's just marketing to be honest. If anything I've found them to be a bit more sensitive than frer. (I did the same and bought them by mistake)

Interesting!

Tested again today (another FRRR as I had a spare one from 2 pack) and looks good I think ☺️ Gonna do a digital tomorrow/mon (if I can wait) and hopefully it will say 2-3 weeks then

Amazing progress! Please please dont use clear blue digital weeks. I posted a thread on this as mine never changed from 2-3 weeks even tho HCG was way high ... So many ladies it happens to and it causes no end of anxiety plus costs a fortune xx

Glitterbug86 · 04/12/2021 17:19

Oh seriously?! That's terrible. You must've been so worried. But glad it's worked out ok. But I've a digital sitting upstairs.. I don't know if I'll be able to resist taking it 🙈 but I would stop at that point and not do another looking for 3+

Ahh may as well use it up! Try not to fall into the trap of buying more tho 😁 A blood test or early scan is better. (I had a private early scan at 5+3) x

Glitterbug86 · 05/12/2021 10:16

Clearly I have no patience 🙈
But it says 2-3 weeks now so I'm happy with that and will try to leave well alone now and not buy any more tests! 😀

@Glitterbug86 good for you! That FRER dye stealer is all you need to know! Or book an early scan for reassurance. Xx

CMCxx · 27/12/2021 22:35

Hi, I done a test tonight randomly as I am due tomorrow but had no pains which I usually suffer quite badly from. This is the test result, can anyone see a line or am I just being dramatic?

Glitterbug86 · 02/02/2022 09:22

Update: had my 12 week scan yesterday and it's twins! 😮😀😬😵‍💫😆

@Glitterbug86 just goes to show line darkness means nothing! Haha congratulations!! Hope you have a healthy pregnancy!

P.s. I always got a darker line on the rapid response than the early response!
