Anyone want to join me for a misery loves company thread!
So over the constant backache, knitting needle pains, tight uncomfortable stomach and nausea/ heartburn. Only just 35 weeks today and want this baby out!

I'm 34+6.

I miss sleep and fed up of pain in my ribs from them separating and baby stretching it's legs out up there and giving them a good kicking!

I shouldn't complain as I've had a relatively easy pregnancy, but I'm looking forwards to getting my body back

ImStayingInside · 02/12/2021 13:05

I’m 34+3, currently working from home, which is a life saver, I couldn’t even imagine having to drag myself into work everyday. I already need an afternoon nap going from my bedroom to the spare bedroom/office 🙈

Trixabelle84 · 02/12/2021 13:16

I'm 34+6 today and it's really starting to drag now, I'm tired and whenever I walk anywhere I am really slow! I have had a pretty easy pregnancy so far though so shouldn't really complain... But will continue to anyway Grin

28+3 and starting to get uncomfortable now. The heartburn is unreal. Wish I could just skip to the good bit haha

Bells3032 · 02/12/2021 13:20

31 weeks and bring delivered at 38 so 7 weeks to go. Can't wait for this all to be done and have her in my arms

RHODXB · 02/12/2021 13:41

My daughter was born at 35 weeks so after today I'll be the most pregnant I've ever been! And had convinced myself baby would come early this time too! I also teach in a school nursery full time so work is getting really tough! 😖

Has anyone else got insatiable hunger?! I need another full meal about an hour after the previous one, or I get horrible stabbing hunger pains. I feel like a right greedy guts! Shock

Pitstop1986 · 02/12/2021 17:33

@RHODXB when do you plan to start maternity leave? I'm working up until Xmas Eve. I figured 38 weeks was a good time to start it. Regretting that decision now!

Trixabelle84 · 02/12/2021 18:09

@Pitstop1986

Me! Starving all of the time, just finished my tea and it hasn't even touched the sides...

MissingGrandstand · 02/12/2021 19:52

Yes please! Only 30w but already miserable, sickness didn’t go until 22w and now given the heartburn sickness has come back with a vengeance Sad plus the not sleeping as everyone else has said!!! Not sure how it’s possible to get 10w more pregnant than this but guess I’ll find out… Grin

RHODXB · 03/12/2021 08:28

@Pitstop1986 I teach in an international school so we break up at the end of next week for Xmas. Sadly though maternity leave is very short so I'll be back at work full time at the end of March. 😭

32+5. Still got HG so I'm desperate for this baby to be out now!

Pitstop1986 · 07/12/2021 15:11

How are we all doing ladies?

I'm currently sat on my birthing ball with a high backed chair in front of me with the back against the ball for me to lean forwards on. It feels like the baby is way too big for my belly. It keeps stretching out and it's really uncomfortable. I can't sit down in a normal chair or settee without getting pains in my belly or ribs.

Only 4 weeks and 3 days to go! (Give or take a fortnight) Hmm

HyphenCobra · 07/12/2021 21:42

Only 28 weeks but spd since 9 weeks and now get 1 or 2 continuous sleep a night due to the hip pain. Exhausted. And still 12 or knowing my luck, 14 weeks to go 😞
He is currently back to back so desperate to make sure by next scan all is turned as i had back to back labour with my first and my god that was horrendous!!!!
Oh, and yes i swig straight from the gaviscon bottle, have been since about 18 weeks fml lol

ImStayingInside · 07/12/2021 21:48

35 weeks here, still have so much to sort!
I bought little zip bags to organise my hospital bag, but they smell horrendous ... like fire. I am airing them out, but not really sure whether I'll be able to use them, I was considering washing them in the bath, but I think I might be going crazy!

I went to a breastfeeding group today, I was a bit nervous about going before baby is born (it does say on the website that mums to be are welcome) and it was actually really nice getting to speak to other new mums.

Eumy · 08/12/2021 12:14

@HyphenCobra Aha, I'm also swigging Gaviscon straight from the bottle! The other day I asked my DP to get me some from Tesco, and they got me the aniseed flavour which I can't stand - I didn't notice till after I took a swig. I wanted to cry Xmas Sad

I'm 32+2 today, and I've got a growth scan today! I'm hoping my placenta has moved a little, last scan it was still in the same place. I have a bad feeling I'm the 1 in 10 where the placenta doesn't move up!

HyphenCobra · 08/12/2021 12:33

@Eumy ergh hate that flavour!!
I go through a bottle a week roughly so get it via prescription as you get a bigger bottle and otherwise I'd need a second mortgage by the end of my pregnancy 😂 when I'm running out and have forgotten to order more i have a slight panic lol
