Hi ladies

Monday night I noticed a big blob of bloody mucus when I went for a wee - went to get checked out at the maternity ward and baby was fine, cervix closed. They said they didn't know what it was but could have been part of mucus plug.

Last night I had more and this time I took a photo. What do you think? Could this be another part of my plug? It was more mucusy than it looks in the photo.

Not panicking as cervix was closed, but it does seem early to lose this. I've been having Braxton Hicks too.

You can start to loose chunks of it early. You’ll keep losing some until labour. Having said that, I have no personal experience as my plug came all in one go with my first. I’d say you’re all good unless you’re noticing regular tightenings 😊 exciting times, good luck with the birth!!

@Rosiiiiie Thanks - hopefully I won't go into labour early as I'm down for elective C-Section at 39 weeks and would really rather baby stayed cooking until then.
