Hi, I am part of a group of undergraduate Psychology students at the University of Leeds conducting some research for our dissertations. We are interested in investigating the memory function of pregnant women. We are looking for women who are currently pregnant to participate in our study (Please note that to be eligible to participate, you must be above 18 years old).
In this online experiment, which will take approximately 10-15 minutes, you will first answer a few demographic questions and then a short writing task (approximately 50 words). You will then be asked to complete two different variations of a memory task. This task will be repeated twice.
All responses will be completely anonymous and your information will be kept confidential. You do not have to answer any questions you do not wish to and you may withdraw at any point without providing a reason. The results from this study will be published as a peer-reviewed journal article and may be presented at academic conferences.
Please note in this study you may be asked to recount experiences of sexual objectification. If you think this will be difficult for you, please do not progress with this study. This study has received ethical approval from the School of Psychology, University of Leeds.
If you have any questions about this work please feel free to contact Madeleine Pownall, the PhD researcher leading this study, at [email protected].
