Seraphine Jeans Sizing

Hi everyone

I'm trying to order a pair of Seraphine jeans but can't decide on size. I own some of their thermal leggings in size Small - which are a bit too big - so don't want to make that mistake again. Pre-pregnancy size I'm usually an 8, sometimes a 10, waist usually 27" on jeans. I'm petite, slim - but not a stick!

Does anyone know what I should order?
Size 8 or 10?

Don't really want to order both sizes and sending one back because their returns takes forever...

Hi. I find Seraphine quite generous in size and also quite long - I’m 5ft 3 and 6 before pregnancy, the 6 fits fine at 31 weeks. I’d go for the 8.
I have to say I prefer my H&M maternity jeans though so worth a look too!

I’ve got Seraphine jeans, 2 pairs of Jojo Maman Bebe jeans, and I ALWAYS choose to wear my Asda maternity jeans.

@39andabit I've got two pairs from H&M already, and love them but really wanted the looser boyfriend style that Seraphine do. But perhaps I'll just stick with what I got and save my pennies 🙏

@Derbee haha typical isn't it! I bought two pairs of dungarees early on and realised with my shoulder/neck issues I can't wear them as they just hurt too much. Complete waste of money really.

I live in my Dorothy Perkins straight leg maternity jeans. I got a pair of Seraphine skinnies in 8 (my usual size), but found them too tight around my calves and my bump weirdly, so I hardly wear them. If I have another baby, will probably wear that earlier in the pregnancy, or get another in size 10.

@CityGirlintheCountry I've not tried DP's jeans but I have a pair of their straight leg lounge pants - and I live in them at home - really super comfy. I also find skinny jeans annoying - constantly having to pull them back down to the ankle as they slide upwards from there and at the same time constantly sliding down from the waist. It's like a full time job keeping them on! Just too annoying for words, straight leg ones are so much simpler and all round comfier.

@MiracleBaby2022 maternity sizing is a lottery! I’ve just ordered leggings from Love Leggings, I feel like I’ve lost all sense of style in pregnancy, I miss my clothes! Hopefully I may be back in them next Autumn 🤞

@39andabit It is difficult to find nice things to wear during pregnancy, I agree, I've spent probably far too much time searching for things to wear that makes me feel (and hopefully look) reasonably good!
